Students from the Architectural Association School of Architecture from the Emergent Technologies and Design Programme created a structure exhibiting the experimentation that was done on the properties of milled plywood. Tests were done on a 1:1 scale and then developed with computational techniques to create an interconnected curved structure. The twisting of the structure includes an array of different geometries through plywood strips and sections. The finished product was on display at the Timber Expo in Birmingham in 2015.
