The Institute of Timber Construction at Biberach University is researching and optimizing wooden ceilings’ vibration behavior. Professor Patricia Hamm presented the results at the World Conference on Timber Engineering in Oslo. The study aimed to develop a standardized and vibration-minimizing design system for wooden ceilings with large spans. The research team received support from industry partners and plans to continue their investigations.
