KLICK HERE TO INFORM YOU about the design
This year, students from the Archineering minor at TU Delft are presenting their project “Sense of Crafting” at the Dutch Design Week 2025.
They will construct a pavilion built entirely from recycled and second-hand wood. Over the past weeks, the students have developed various designs and construction methods, resulting in the final concept shown in the images on the right.
The project explores how sustainable architecture can emerge through the use of wooden joints, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese joinery techniques. The students have also taken part in hands-on woodworking courses to master these methods.
Visit them at DDW 2025 to see how they bring their design to life.
