Business developer at TNO
At TNO, Ron Oorschot focuses with a team of about 15 colleagues on the use of wood and other biobased materials in construction. He deals with materials research (virgin and circular) in their application. He also plays a role in developing biobased building systems and monitoring the performance of buildings in which the biobased building components have been applied.
In addition to expertise, TNO has facilities; in their current Building Innovation Lab, ongoing research is supported with experiments and he is going to realise a completely new facility in which we can also start making 0-series of biobased building products with partners.
