This research group at TU Darmstadt focuses on providing a technical foundation for the application of paper in the building envelope. Material properties of paper have to adapt to the requirements of building materials, such as high strength and water resistance. Paper has a high potential for bio-based applications in the building industry and is inexpensive to produces and offered strength properties.
