SOM-led testing at Oregon State University of utilizing CLT and concrete floor systems in high-rise buildings. This report of the timber testing program, which was completed in 2016, is a continuation of the 2013 and 2014 research reports. The timber composite structural system was compared to conventional concrete structures as a benchmark. The research concludes that steel frames in combination with timber floors is effective for high-rise residential buildings.
